While we were at her house, Abby got sick. I won't go into detail but the hospital experience was interesting. Iam thankful that she got sick in a place where we could get some help from a local.
We went to Copenhagen for one day to go to the Hard Rock Cafe, which counts #4 for this trip. The food and shirt was a little on the high side, but we went there and got a shirt (for Abby). It was supposed to rain all day, but we went there anyways. It rained off and on.
We took the train over a body of water to get to Copenhagen. It was only a 50 minute train ride. Once we arrived, we got a map and discussed where to go. We got out of the train station and found Tivoli gardens (an amusement park) right in front of the station. We didn't go there because we wanted to check other things out.
It was one of our places to check out and it just happened that the Hard Rock Cafe was there too! It was a bit early but we decided to go ahead and eat there.
We walked back on Strøgen to get to the train station. This H&M is like the flagship. It was 3 floors tall and so huge. I almost got lost on there!
We also planned to see the little mermaid statue. It was raining and a bit far so we decided to turn back. We saw a replica of the statue at the airport!
On another day, we visited Lund, Linda's childhood city.
Exterior of the Deaf school. It will be closed soon and the school moved to another school with hearing students.
Inside of the church
They have a clock that automatically shows the date and time and they play a show at intervals during the day. We were fortunate enough to catch the 3 pm show.
Now, it is time to fly back home. It is really hard to believe that a month has passed by! We had a great time in Europe.
Some fun at the duty free shop...
